What the platform fee is

What BounceDay takes when you collect through us, on which plans, and what we do not take.

When a client pays you through BounceDay, we take a platform fee on that payment. It is the only thing we take from a booking.

On Free it is 1.5%, whether they pay by card or by bank transfer.

On Solo, Crew, and Fleet it is 0.5% on cards and 1% on bank transfers. Collecting regularly means the plan pays for a good part of itself.

There is no cap, on either rail or any plan. One rate is easier to hold in your head than a rate with a ceiling clause attached.

Stripe charges its own processing rate, separately, and that goes to Stripe. We never fold the two into one number, because two different companies charge them — check Stripe for their current rate.

It is a platform fee, not a processing fee. We call it what it is: it is what BounceDay charges for running the booking, the contract, and the collection.

Your client never sees it. They pay exactly the amount on your quote; the fee comes out of your side of the charge.

It only applies to money you collect through BounceDay. Your own payment links, cash, and checks are yours alone — nothing of yours passes through us on those, so there is nothing for us to take.
