Downgrading, pausing, or cancelling never deletes anything — your fleet, bookings, setup records, and whatever P&L history you built on Pro and up stay readable, and you can export all of it at any time.

Questions, answered.

How is BounceDay priced?

One flat monthly with no per-unit pricing, and unlimited bookings on every paid tier — no setup fee and no hosting fee, and any list-price change comes with at least 30 days' notice, never mid-period. If you collect your clients' money through BounceDay, there is a platform fee on what you collect: +2% on Free, +1% on Solo, and +0.5% on Pro and Crew, by card or bank transfer alike. Collect on your own payment links instead and there is no platform fee.

Where does my clients’ money go?

If you collect through BounceDay payments, the money goes into an account you own: the charge is made directly on your own Stripe account — your name is on it, Stripe pays you out on your own schedule, and there is no BounceDay balance holding your deposits on the way. Our platform fee comes off your side of that charge, and it applies only to money you collect through BounceDay. Amounts in the app are tracked to the penny either way, but they are records of money that is already yours.

What is the platform fee, exactly?

It is what BounceDay charges when you collect a client’s money through us, and it is the only thing we take from a booking. On Free it is +2% whether the client pays by card or bank transfer. On Solo it is +1%, and on Pro and Crew it drops again to +0.5% — always the same on card and bank, so the plan pays for part of itself as soon as you are collecting regularly. Stripe’s own processing rate is separate and goes to Stripe.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You take all of it. Export everything you have — fleet, bookings, contracts, setup records (watermarked on Free), and the per-unit P&L history you build on Pro and up — as JSON or CSV, free, on every tier, forever. The off-season pause keeps your data warm, but export is never the reason you can’t leave.

Does a setup record certify that a unit is safe?

No. Recorded by you — BounceDay records completion; it does not certify safety. Checklists are your own templates (starting points you fully own and edit); we record that you completed your check with a photo and a timestamp. We never make a safety claim on your behalf.

Does the weather feature cancel or reschedule my bookings for me?

No. We flag, you decide. A weather flag, on Pro and up, shows the raw NWS forecast, the time we pulled it, and your own threshold — then the choice is yours. We never auto-cancel, never auto-reschedule, and never render "couldn’t check" as "all clear." Your decision and its timestamp are logged as yours.

How does a customer book from my storefront?

They send a request, not a booking. A customer picks a date and sees which of your units are already booked that day, then picks the ones they want and sends it through — on every plan, including Free. On a paid plan they can build the priced request themselves, labeled an estimate you confirm. It waits in your inbox; you accept, adjust, or dismiss, and only then does it become a real booking, checked against your fleet so you’re never double-booked. If you turn on instant booking, requests inside the limits you set — how close to the date, how many units — accept themselves and hold the date; everything else waits for you.

Can customers pay or lock a slot on my page themselves?

Not on their own terms. A customer can pick a date and build a priced request, but nothing on your page holds a unit: the request sits in your inbox and becomes a real booking only when it is accepted — by you, or by instant booking inside the limits you set. Paying comes after that, on the quote you send: your client can settle by card or bank transfer through BounceDay, on your own payment links, or offline — whichever methods you turn on. However it arrives, the money settles to an account you own, and there is no BounceDay balance holding it on the way.

What does a paid plan add to my storefront?

Two things a customer can see. The page takes your own color — headings, buttons and the identity band all move to it, so it looks like the rest of your business rather than like our default. Your photos become galleries: every photo of every unit opens full-screen, each unit shows how many shots you have, and a review of a unit can carry a few of your setups beside it — photographs are how a stranger decides you are real, so they are the part of the page that does the selling. A Free page still shows every unit’s photo; the gallery treatment is what Solo adds. Nothing is locked or blurred either way — what a plan doesn’t include is simply not on the page, which is why a free page never looks like a paywall.

What does my insurer or venue actually get?

A per-booking setup record — a real PDF at a share link. Every completed checklist composes one: per-unit safety checks with photo timestamps, the setup crew, the date, and your brand. Hand it to an insurer, a school, or a city. On Free it carries a small "Recorded with BounceDay" watermark; on any paid tier it’s your brand only.

What happens when I pause for the off-season?

Winter doesn’t cost you full price. Pause to $9/mo — read-only, with your archives and rebooking list kept warm — and one tap brings you back in spring. Pausing never deletes anything, and you can export all of it any time.
