Letting a booking accept itself

Normally every request waits for your yes. If you want, you can hand BounceDay a set of bounds and let it accept requests that fall inside them — so a customer who fits your rules gets an answer without waiting on you.

It is off until you turn it on. Open Settings, then Instant book.

Nothing is charged automatically. Your client still signs your contract and pays the deposit exactly the same way — this only removes the wait for your yes.

You set the bounds: how many units at once, how much notice you need, and how long the date is held while they finish signing.

Two more bounds come from elsewhere in your account: your booking window, and your delivery area. Set your delivery area in Settings, then Delivery, before you turn this on — until an address can be checked against a stated area, nothing can be accepted.

It also checks the obvious things. A unit already booked that day is never accepted twice; the date has to be inside the window you publish; and a request that has been sitting too long goes back to being an ordinary request.

Anything bigger, sooner, or outside your delivery area simply comes to you as an ordinary request. Your customer is never told why, and never sees a refusal — from their side it is the same "request received" they would have had anyway.

That is deliberate. A customer should never learn where your limits are, and should never feel they were turned down. You see the reason on your side; they see a normal request.

Nothing on your public page promises a customer an immediate answer, and nothing should — the page never says a booking can complete without you.

Turn it off at any time and every request goes back to waiting for you.
