Inventro alternative · honest comparison

Inventro vs the tool that runs the day-of, the weather call, and the numbers.

Inventro’s free-forever tier is a real thing, and it’s the reason we made our own Free tier a genuine tool rather than a demo. Here’s the honest version of what Inventro covers today — and where an operator running busy weekends needs more.

The honest state

A genuinely free basic tool — deliberately thin

Inventro ships a free-forever tier for North American bounce-house rentals with per-unit availability and no-double-booking, delivery routing, and maintenance notes. A no-cost floor that actually works is exactly the bar we built our own Free tier to clear.

It’s also thin by design. The features a busy operator leans on come the weekend — a native day-of run (Solo and up), weather flags and true per-unit P&L (Pro and up) — are exactly what our July 2026 review found not yet shipped.

So this isn’t a takedown. If Inventro fills that triad, we’ll say so. Today, it’s a free availability-and-routing tool; we’re a storefront, a way to get paid, and a day-of operations tool. Our free tier carries the first two in full — your own published storefront, and card and bank payments — and the ordered day-of run comes with Solo and up.

What to check before you commit

  • Whether there’s a native day-of run for the driveway — ordered stops and offline photo-stamped checklists.
  • Whether weather is a workflow (forecast → flag → policy-correct reschedule offer), not just a note.
  • Whether you get inflatable-native per-unit P&L — repair and cleaning cost per unit, not just generic ROI.

How we do it differently

  1. A native day-of app built for the driveway, on Solo and up — ordered stops and photo-stamped checklists that run fully offline, syncing when signal returns.
  2. Weather flags on Pro and up: the raw NWS forecast, the time we pulled it, and your own threshold — then you decide. We flag; we never auto-cancel or auto-reschedule.
  3. Inflatable-native per-unit P&L on Pro and up — revenue, utilization, and repair/clean cost per unit, tracked to the penny.

The part that doesn’t fit in a table

BounceDay runs on promises we build into the product — marketing claims that are also product constraints, so a price change or a rebrand can’t quietly revise them:

  • One flat monthly — no per-unit pricing, no setup or hosting fees.
  • Your money lands in accounts you own.
  • Your data walks free — export everything, always.
  • We record completion; we never certify safety.
  • Weather flags on Pro and up: the raw NWS forecast, when we pulled it, and your own threshold — you decide. We never auto-cancel.
